Imunomodulace u recidivujících infekcí močových cest

Infekce močových cest (IMC) zaujímají druhé místo v početnosti infekcí, hned za infekcemi dýchacích cest. Řešení jednorázové IMC je plně v kompetenci praktického lékaře. Pokud dochází k opakování nebo komplikovanějšímu průběhu infekce, obrací se praktik na urologa, a pokud má podezření na narušení obranyschopnosti pacienta, taky na specialistu alergologa/klinického imunologa, který indikuje odpovídající imunologické vyšetření a zajišťuje jeho interpretaci a navrhuje, případně zajišťuje odpovídající podpůrnou imunomodulační léčbu.

Immunomodulation in recurrent urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infections (IMC) rank second in the number of infections, after respiratory infections. The one-time IMC solution is fully within the competence of the general practitioner. If the infection recurs or becomes more complicated, the practitioner will contact a urologist and if he suspects that the patient’s immunity is impaired, they also contact an allergist / clinical immunologist who indicates the appropriate immunological examination and ensures its interpretation and suggests or provides appropriate supportive immunomodulatory treatment.
