Rhinophyma, klinický obraz, diagnostika a chirurgické možnosti liečby (kazuistika)

Rhinophyma je pokročilé štádium fimatózneho subtypu rosacey, pri ktorom dochádza k hypertrofii mazových žliaz, k prestavbe dermy a postupnej deformácii nosových mäkkých tkanív. Je to chronicky progredujúce ochorenie, ktoré môže viesť k významnej estetickej aj funkčnej morbidite pacienta. Práca prezentuje prehľad súčasných poznatkov o etiopatogenéze, klinickom obraze, diagnostike a terapeutických možnostiach rhinophymy a zároveň uvádza kazuistiku pacienta s výraznou formou ochorenia riešenou chirurgickým prístupom.

Rinophyma is an advanced stage of the phymatous subtype of rosacea, characterized by hypertrophy of the sebaceous glands, dermal remodeling, and gradual deformation of the soft tissues of the nose. It is a chronically progressive condition that can lead to significant aesthetic and functional morbidity for the patient. This paper presents an overview of current knowledge on the etiopathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and therapeutic options for rhinophyma, and also includes a case report of a patient with a several form of the disease treated surgically.
