Terapie akutních kojeneckých gastroenteritid
Kojenecké gastroenteritidy jsou stále častým důvodem ošetřování kojenců jak v ambulantní, tak i v nemocniční praxi. Důvodem k hospitalizaci jsou především závažné průběhy onemocnění s hrozícím nebezpečím vzniku komplikací nebo již s rozvinutou nejčastější komplikací – poruchou vodního a minerálního metabolizmu. V článku jsou uvedeny postupy používané v diagnostice a terapii kojeneckých průjmových onemocnění. Posouzení celkového stavu dítěte a laboratorních nálezů dovolí posoudit tíži dehydratace a zvolit odpovídající léčebné a dietní postupy jak v rámci ambulantní, tak i nemocniční péče. Treatment of Acute Suckling Gastroenteritis Gastroenteritis in sucklings is still a frequent reason for treatment in both outpatients’ and in hospitals. The reason for every admission to hospital is either a severe course of the illnes and subsequent complications or an acute presentation such as a disorder of water and mineral metabolism. In the article the approaches to the therapy of the most frequently occurring infectious gastroenteritis are introduced. A holistic assesment of the health status of the child with a simultaneous laboratory investigation will give an overall picture of the severity of dehydratation and will help in the choice of a suitable treatment and dietetic approach which may be applicable to both the outpatients’ department and to the hospital itself.
