Svrab je stále aktuálny

Svrab (scabies) je humánna prenosná infekcia postihujúca všetky vekové a socioekonomické skupiny ľudí na celom svete. Poznanie incidencie, dynamiky vývoja chorobnosti, osobitosti klinických prejavov umožňujú správnu diagnostiku a liečbu a spolu s protiepidemickými opatreniami umožnia predísť šíreniu choroby. Incidencia svrabu má periodicitu, čo potvrdila aj analýza hlásení v rokoch 1987 až 2016, ako aj analýza počtu ošetrených osôb v dermatovenerologických ambulanciách SR v rokoch 2007 − 2016. Zistenia poukazujú na zvyšujúcu sa incidenciu ochorenia, na rozdiely podľa krajov, vysoký výskyt svrabu vo vekovej skupine do 18 rokov, potrebu zlepšiť hlásenie a protiepidemické opatrenia.

Scabies is still up to date Scabies is a humane skin infection which affects all age and socioeconomic groups of people around the world. Knowledge of the incidence, the dynamics of development of diseases, peculiarities of the clinical manifestations allow for the correct diagnosis and treatment and, together with the antiepidemic measures will allow to prevent the spread of the disease. Incidence of scabies has a periodicity, which was also confirmed by the analysis of the reports in the years 1987 to 2016, as well as the numbers of treated persons suffered with scabies in outpatients dermatovenereological department of the Slovak Republic in the years 2007-2016. The findings point showed the increasing incidence disease, the differences by regions, high incidence of scabies in the age group of under 18 years of age, the needing to improve the reports and antiepidemic measures.
