Léčba infekcí močových cest v éře antibiotické rezistence

Nozokomiální i komunitní močové infekce jsou v současnosti stále častěji způsobeny bakteriemi rezistentními na běžná antibiotika. Účinná terapie infekcí močových cest je tedy čím dál obtížnější. V článku jsou přehledně charakterizovány typy bakteriální rezistence, se kterými se urolog v praxi nejčastěji setkává. Uvedeny jsou rovněž aktuální možnosti antibiotické terapie těchto infekcí a principy prevence vzniku rezistence.

Treatment of urinary tract infections in the era of antibiotic resistance

Recently, there has been increasing prevalence of both healthcare-associated and community-acquired urinary tract infections caused by bacteria resistant to commonly prescribed antibiotics. The article summarises the types of antibiotic resistance commonly seen in everyday urological practice and also outlines the principles of antibiotic therapy and prevention of urinary tract infections caused by resistant pathogens.
