Abscesy pečene. Kazuistika a prehľad literatúry

Autori vo svojej práci prezentujú liečbu abscesu pečene u štyroch pacientov, v ktorej dominuje perkutánna drenáž pod CT kontrolou. Konvenčná laparotómia je vyhradená pre abscesy refraktérne alebo nevhodné na tento postup. Úvod je venovaný histórii ochorenia, incidencii, patogenéze, bakteriológii a diferenciálnej diagnostike. V kazuistikách zdôrazňujú význam anamnézy, klinického vyšetrenia a zobrazovacích vyšetrení pre stanovenie diagnózy a výber najvhodnejšej liečebnej modality.

Liver abscesses. Case report and literature overview
The authors present in their work the liver abscess therapy of four patients where dominates the percutaneous drainage of the liver abscess under the CT control. In general, the surgery is reserved for cases where percutaneous drainage has failed. The introduction is focused on the history of the disease, incidence, pathogenesis, bacteriology and differential diagnosis. In the case reports the importance of the anamnesis, examination, diagnostic imaging methods to reach the right diagnosis and treatment plan is underlined.
