Analýza látek v historických pozůstatcích léčiv z muzejních sbírek
Studium chemického složení předmětů zachovaných v muzejních sbírkách metodami analytické chemie může poskytnout zajímavé poznatky umožňující lepší pochopení účelu těchto artefaktů. Rozšiřují se tak informace o technickém umu a vědomostech našich předků. V příspěvku je podán výběr z prací věnujících se analýze historických pozůstatků léčiv, datovaných od nejstarších dob do 20. století. Jsou ukázány čtyři hlavní motivy vedoucí k takovým analýzám a jejich využití pro historii farmacie.

Analysis of substances in historical pharmaceutical relics from museum collections
Research on the chemical composition of objects preserved in museum collections using methods of analytical chemistry could provide an interesting picture to better understanding the purpose of those relicts. Thus, information on the technical skills and knowledge of our ancestors is expanding. The paper presents a selection of works devoted to the analysis of historical pharmaceutical relics, dated from the earliest times to the 20th century. Four main themes leading to such analyses and their application in the history of pharmacy are shown.
