Inkontinencia moču – diagnostika a liečba

Autor sa formou súhrnného prehľadu zameriava na problematiku inkontinencie moču u žien. Zmieňuje sa o jej rozdelení, rozlíšení jednotlivých typov inkontinencie, jej klasifikácii, patofyziológii, etiológii vrátane najvýznamnejších rizikových faktorov jej vzniku a epidemiológie. Ďalej sa zaoberá dôvodmi nedostatočného riešenia tohto problému ako aj jeho ekonomickými dopadmi. V záverečnej časti podáva aktuálny prehľad možností liečby inkontinencie moču u žien.

URINARY INCONTINENCE – DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

In the form of summary survey, the author of this report addresses the urinary incontinence in women. He briefly mentions its distinction, classification, patophysiology, etiology including the most significant risk factors of its creation and epidemiologic data. Further he deals with the reason of insufficient solution of this problem and its economic impacts. In the conclusive part he presents an overview of urinary incontinence treatment options.
