Diferenciálna diagnostika demencií s fatickou poruchou – kazuistika

Autorka na prezentovanom kazuistickom prípade pacientky, u ktorej bola v klinickom obraze dominantným symptómom porucha reči, upozorňuje na potrebu dôslednej diagnostiky typu demencie, čo má dopad na zvolenie adekvátnej terapie, vyslovenie prognózy a pre kvalitu života pacienta i jeho rodiny. Pacientka bola odoslaná a prijatá na hospitalizáciu s diagnózou Alzheimerova demencia. Vzhľadom na atypický priebeh ochorenia a najmä na klinický obraz bolo vykonané diferenciálne diagnostické šetrenie a prehodnotená diagnóza. Autorka rozoberá diferenciálnu diagnostiku demencií z okruhu frontotemporálnej predilekcie neurodegeneratívneho procesu a stanovenie pravdepodobnej diagnózy a z toho vyplývajúcich možností liečebného ovplyvnenia procesu a stanovenie prognózy ochorenia.

Differential diagnosis of dementia with phatic disorder – case report

In presented case report where the clinical picture was the dominant symptom of language disorder the author highlights the need for thorough diagnosis of the type of dementia, which affects the choice of adequate therapy, prognosis, and the quality of life of patients and their families. The patient was sent and received on hospitalization with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia. Given the atypical course of the disease and particularly clinical picture differential diagnostic investigation was made and diagnosis was reviewed. The author discusses the differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative process with frontotemporal predilection and determines the probable diagnosis and the resulting possibility of therapeutic intervention process and determination of prognosis.
