Preaurikulárna zabscedovaná fistula

Preaurikulárna fistula je vrodená vývinová chyba mäkkých tkanív lokalizovaná v preaurikulárnej oblasti. Môže byť po celý život asymptomatická, k jej manifestácii dochádza zvyčajne pri infikovaní. Uvádzame prípad 3,5-ročnej pacientky so zabscedovanou preaurikulárnou fistulou, ktorá sa prejavila typickými symptómami, ako sú opuch, bolesť a začervenanie, čo viedlo k antibiotickej a chirurgickej liečbe. Následne bola indikovaná úplná exstirpácia fistuly v pokojovom štádiu.

Preauricular abscessed fistula

Preauricular sinus is a congenital malformation of soft tissue localised at the preauricular region. It can be asymptomatic throughout life, while it manifests during infection. We report the case of a 3,5-year old patient with an abscessed preauricular fistula who showed typical symptoms such as swelling, pain and erythema, which requires the usage of antibiotic treatment and surgical drainage. Subsequently, complete extirpation of the fistula was indicated after the infection was health.
