Súčasné možnosti diagnostiky a liečby epidermoidného karcinómu hrtana a hypofaryngu

Autor prezentuje najnovšie poznatky v diagnostike a liečbe epidermoidného karcinómu hrtana a hypofaryngu. Uvádza epidemiologické údaje o výskyte, etiológii a príznakoch karcinómu. Na základe TNM klasifikácie stanovenej navrhovanými diagnostickými postupmi, navrhuje jednotlivé liečebné postupy. Záverom prezentuje údaje o prognóze a efektivite liečby pri jednotlivých typoch nádoru.

Contemporary possibilities of diagnostics and treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx and hypopharynx

Author publishes the newest knowledge in diagnostic and treatment of laryngeal cancer and hypopharyngeal carcinoma. He introduces epidemilogical data about frequency, etiology and clinical presentaion of laryngeal and hypofaryngeal carcinoma . Based on TNM classification defined by proposed diagnostic workup he suggests treatment procedures. At the end he presents data about prognosis and treatment effectivenes of different kind of tumors.
