TUR syndrom
TUR syndrome Author presents problems of transurethral resection syndrome – a serious complication of transurethral prostate endoresection, which nowadays belongs among the commonest surgery in men over 60 years of age. The first part of a case report deals with a pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnostic and therapy. The second part he presents a case report itself and also used preventive measures in his own department. Key words: TUR syndrome, hyperhydration, acute haemolysis, natraemia, diuretic therapy, acute renal failure, haemodialysis.
