RISKS AND PREVENTION OF HEALTH CARE PERSONNEL INJURIES Health personnel injuries are among the most frequent risks in exercise of this profession. Stabbing, stitch or cut of contaminated object, usually with a needle, can transfer an infection by the blood. Presented article deals with clinical symptoms and epidemiology of possible infections, which can occur in injured health personnel. Great emphasis is placed on prevention, preventive precautions and advisable steps of management of injury during repressive measures. Key words: blood, viral hepatitis, HIV, precautions.
