Možnosti léčebné rehabilitace v léčbě močové inkontinence

Possibilities for therapeutic rehabilitation in the management of urinary incontinence The rehabilitation of pelvic floor problems presents new possibilities for the conservative treatment of urinary incontinence. It has arisen from the new neurophysiological knowledge on the function of the pelvic floor in relation to respiration, stabilization of the spine and pelvis and function of the foot. We see the internal incoordination of the pelvic floor muscles as a cause of urinary incontinence which can be treated by physiotheraphy. Described here are the developmental aspects of the pelvic floor, the most frequent clinicopathological consequences of the kinesiological status and the pertinent symptoms for diagnostic use. The basic procedures and techniques of the medical rehabilitation and myoskeletal medicine used in the rehabilitatory treatment of urinary incontinence is herein reviewed. Key words: urinary incontinence, rehabilitation, pelvic floor.
