Metabolické vyšetření urolitiázy – význam, vyšetření, terapie a metafylaxe

METABOLIC MANAGEMENT OF UROLITHIASIS – SIGNIFICANCE, EXAMINATION, THERAPY AND METAPHYLAXIS Metabolic abnormalities responsible for stone reccurence are currently identified in 97 % of evaluated patiens and remission rates in this group is achieved in almost 80%. Urolithiasis secondary of urinary calcium excretion in most renal stone formers is more dependent on the dietary acid load. Reducing the acid-ash content of the diet has an impact on decreasing stone reccurence while preventing bone loss. New evidence associated the decolonization of oxalate degrading intestinal flora with a higher risk of calcium oxalate stone formation, possibly opening a novel approach for prevention of urolithiasis. Key words: urolithiasis, metabolic examination, metaphylaxis, dieta, Oxalobacter.
