Medikamentózní léčba erektilní dysfunkce – dramatická změna v přístupu k léčbě
PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION – DRAMATIC CHANGE IN ATTITUDE TO THE THERAPY The attitude of a society and medicine towards sexual dysfunction has markedly changed during last years. Diagnostic methods for detection of the etiology of sexual dysfunctions were evolving (and still evolve), which enable their causal treatment. This problem is related mainly to the general health status of patient, its psychosexual, partner and social background. Simultaneously, there are evolving very intensively possibilities of effective symptomatic therapy, which has in comparison to causal therapy significantly faster effect, which is limited by drug’s pharmacokinetics. It influences significantly a psychogenic component of sexual dysfunctions, which is present to individual degree in every patient. Present medical, pharmacological and socio-psychogenic aspects of diagnosis and therapy of sexual dysfunctions, mainly an erectile dysfunction, are mentioned in the article.
