Komplexní péče o muže

Complex male care With a progress of new development in medicine we begin to understand, that both economical and medical fundamental society benefit lies in development of preventive programmes. These programmes can be focused on gender-specific diseases (prevention of breast carcinoma, prevention of cervical carcinoma) or special-interest groups (prevention in sport) or on a specific age (programmes for children). Unique forms of prevention (particularly due to involvement of non-medically educated therapists) are programmes centred on prevention of addictive drug abuse (drug prevention). Widely accepted social data are evaluated in assessment of preventive programmes efficiency. One of particular importance is a mean length of life. Following that we can find women living 5 years longer than men in average. Author shows relations among lots of links, which „disadvantage“ (biological and psychological aspects) man and primarily complete absence of preventive programmes. Although this topic is unsatisfactorily solved in women, it is completely absent in men. We know at the beginning of the 21st century, that information availability, form of processing and form of presentation belong among keystones of preventive medicine – the medicine preceding diseases and sparing economical resources.
