Etiopatogeneze a metafylaxe metabolických poruch A rizik urolitiázy
Etiopathogenesis and metaphylaxis of metabolic disorders and risks of urolithiasis Recurrent urolithiasis belongs to the internal diseases with urologic consequences. But only a small percentage of doctors look at it that way, the vast majority of them consider urolithiasis suitable for surgical care. In conjunction with recent changes in health care the economic point of view seems to be relevant, especially when many times inefficient and repeated interventions cost our system large amount of money. In many cases relatively simple conservative or surgical intervention are feasible and can safe patients from lots of subsequent urological and nephrological complications. On the other hand it is necessary to mention, that detailed laboratory tests and netaphylaxis are not efficient from economic point of view in patients with isolated (the first) occurrence of urolithiasis. On the contrary, it is very cost-effective in patients with recurrent urolithiasis. The paper brings the basic review of etiopathogenesis of the most common disorders a risks of recurrent urolithiasis. Furthermore, the survey of current diagnostic evaluation and principles of primary and secondary prevention of urolithiasis are given. Therapy of urolithiasis in children is also mentioned, as well as problem of dispensary of persons with recurrent urolithiasis.
