Chronická orchialgie
Chronic orchialgia Orchialgia is pain localized in a testicle. This pain can be provoked by pathology originating in a testicle, but it could be also a pain transferred form other location. We can therefore distinguish primary and secondary orchialgia. Considering the fact testicles develop during embryonic period close to kidneys, pain could be transferred to testicles mainly from pathological processes of kidneys of other retroperitoneal organs. According to an etiology and a time orchialgia could be distinguished into acute and chronic or posttraumatic, inflammatory, tumour and other. Authors present an overview reasons for chronic orchialgia. Key words: testicle, chronic orchialgia, vasectomy, varicocele.
