Chlopně zadní uretry u dětí – diagnostika a léčba
Posterior urethral valves in children – diagnosis and management. Majority of posterior urethral valves are diagnosed in utero, allowing early operation of urethral obstruction. Primary renal dysplasia cannot be improved, but bladder function should be preserved, avoiding decline in renal function conecting with high pressure bladder. Persisting lower urinary tract dysfunction (valve bladder syndrom) necessitates appropriate diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to improve long-term outcomes. Key words: posterior urethral valve, chronic renal failure, dysfunction of lower urinary tract.
