Evaluation of Liver Function in Pediatrics (Part Four) In differential diagnosis of liver diseases there is crucial to distinguish viral hepatitis from cholestatic syndrome, toxic liver damage, acute and chronic liver hypoxia, as well as to differentiate between various forms of chronic hepatitis, primary liver tumors and metastatic liver damage. Cholestatic syndrome in children is characterized by specific features. The paper concludes presenting the algorithm of differential diagnosis of the most common hepatopathies.
