Problematika břišní bolesti v dětském věku
RECURRENT ABDOMINAL PAIN IN CHILDHOOD Recurrent abdominal pain (RAP) are one of the most often problems in children. RAP can be classified as either organic or non-organic (psychosomatic) depending on whether a specific cause of the pain is identified. The difficulties in diagnosing RAP are well known. A wide range of potential organic causes of RAP must be considered before establishing a diagnosis of functional pain. The treatment of RAP should be causal. Evaluation of children with RAP should be individualized and successful management depends on close follow-up and the cooperating with the family. Key words: recurrent abdominal pain, functional and organic pain, children.
