Obstrukce dolních dýchacích cest
LOWER AIRWAYS OBSTRUCTION Lower airways obstruction is a characteristic feature in a rather disparate group of diseases. It is based on disorder of breathing function in the meaning of difficult expirium due to constriction of bronchi and bronchioli. Acute infectious affection, chronic disease of asthma bronchiale type and also noninfectious mechanic constriction could be a reason for this disease. Treatment is addressed to the removal of the cause of bronchi constriction. Medicaments for elimination of the mucous secreta, reduction of bronchus mucosa swelling and abolition of bronchus muscle spasm are used. If mechanical resistance is present, goal-directed aspiration or extraction of this foreign body would be necessary. Disease course can be life-threatening frequently and rapid effective treatment including intensive care is essential. Key words: lower airways obstruction, asthma bronchiale, obstructive bronchitis, bronchiolitis, expiratory dyspnoea, respiratory failure.
