Facial dermatoses in the newborns and infants

Facial dermatoses in the newborns and infants are concerning a large group of different clinical units that would deserve a monothematic book publication. The localization on the face is typical for some of them, even with the high diagnostic value. However, for another of them, the localization on the face is just accompanying marker of the disease, representing one of the possible manifestations of the disorder. Due to these reasons we focused in this paper on the most important dermatological diseases of the newborns and infants. The differential diagnosis of some of them is presented in the form of tables because of their actuality and importance.
