The latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a rapidly evolving malignancy, with emerging evidence from contemporary clinical trials supporting a transition from standardized treatment paradigms toward a more personalized approach to cancer care, guided by tumor biology, genomic characteristics, and patient-centered preferences. A notable recent development is the adoption of a revised nomenclature that more accurately reflects the biological behavior of the disease. This review aims to summarize the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and to discuss their potential implications for survival outcomes and quality of life.
