Duodenogastric reflux in polymorphic patient
Duodenogastric reflux is characterized as a retrograde shift of duodenal contents from the duodenum to the stomach. It is considered as a casual cause of biliary gastritis. Diagnosis is based on an esophagogastroduodenoscopic examination with gall bladder, histological examination of chronic inflammation. Long-term duodenogastric reflux is responsible for mucosal metaplasia. We present a case of a polymorphic patient with DGR and its clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment. The drugs have an effect on DGR, mainly drugs from the group of prokinetics, which promote stomach motility and thus reduce the return of the digestive tract.
