Traumatic injury to the lower limb - a case report
A decision whether to amputate primarily or attempt to rescue a traumatized lower limb is a serious decision in both the military and civilian sectors (1). It is necessary to evaluate a large number of clinical parameters and some specific damages to the lower limb should lead directly to primary amputation (2). In our work, we describe the case of a 23-year-old patient after a traumatic injury to the left lower limb. He was urgently hospitalized at OAIM in Vranov hospital in hemorrhagic shock.
