Goitre in pediatric population
Goitre, defined as enlargement of the thyroid gland, is a symptom of thyroid dysfunction. In addition to the sonographic examination, it is necessary to provide the laboratory test of the hormonal profile and thus determine the functionality of the goiter and subsequently the next therapeutic procedure.
