Speech and language disorders in pediatric practice

The child‘s communication, speech and language are usually mirrored in his overall psychomotor development. Therefore, problems of the speech and/or language of the child are clear and often the first signal of the other serious disorders, especially at an early age. Similarly, deficit communication within three years, predicts further difficulties in later, often in a school age. Therefore, the article provides a brief overview of some of the most common disorders from early to school age, such as developmental language disorder, speech sound disorder, stuttering or learning disabilities.
