Chyby a omyly v diagnostike CT zobrazovacími metódami pri malígnych nádoroch pľúc a mediastína
Errors in CT diagnostics imaging methods for malignants lung and mediastinal tumors Primary lung and mediastinal tumors have a great potential to raise doubts about radiological diagnosis and staging. Image of malignant and benign lesions rarely overlap partially and may have different morphological appearance in radiological examinations. These facts define some sensitivity and specificity of the methods to be used. An outstanding role plays in particular in controversial and borderline cases, the experience of the radiologist. Frequent evaluations of the lymphatic system are often controversial mediastinum and areas of pericardium and cardiofrenic angle. A great deal of mistakes are also caused by thymus tumors, carcinoids and benign ones complications of oncological treatment such as rebound thymus hyperplasia and pulmonary infarction.
