Kompletní syndrom a. choroidea anterior v řečově nedominantní hemisféře na podkladě ischemického iktu

A complete syndrome of the anterior choroidal artery in a non-dominant hemisphere due to acute ischemic stroke Anterior choroidal artery syndrome is a rare clinical syndrome consisting of a triad of contralateral severe hemiparesis/hemiplegia, hemiparesthesia and homonymous hemianopia, typically as a result of a cerebral infarction in the anterior choroidal artery territory. A 72-year-old woman was admitted for a left-sided hemiplegia, hemianesthesia, facial palsy, neglect syndrome/anosognosia and left homonymous hemianopia. Control magnetic resonance has showed acute ischemic changes in the posterior limb of internal capsule corresponding to the territory of the right anterior choroidal artery.
