Neopioidové analgetiká v liečbe chronickej bolesti

Autor sa v článku zaoberá zásadami liečby chronickej bolesti a farmakoterapiou so zameraním na neopioidové analgetiká. V úvode článku rozoberá delenie farmák používaných v liečbe bolesti v podobe tzv. analgetického rebríka. Ďalej sa podrobnejšie venuje neopioidovým analgetikám, mechanizmu ich účinkovania vrátane centrálneho efektu, indikáciam, žiaducim a nežiaducim účinkom vrátane možností ich zmiernenia, ako aj kombinovaním neopioidových analgetík. Podrobnejšie rozoberá podskupinu nesteroidových antiflogistík so zameraním na COX-2 inhibítory.

NON-OPIOID ANALGETICS IN THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC PAIN

The author in his article is concerned with the principles of chronic pain treatment and pharmacotherapy focused on non- -opioid analgetics. In its introduction the author deals with the division of pharmaceutics utilised in the pain treatment as so called analgetic ladder. Furthermore, he focuses his attention in more details on non-opioid analgetics, their effectivness, mechanism within the central effect in the CNS (Central Nervous System); indications of their administration; desirable and adverse effects including their alleviation options as well as combining of non-opiod analgetics. Also, dealt with in more details is a sub-group of non-steroidal antiinflamatory drugs focused on COX-2 inhibitors.
