AKUTNÍ A RECIDIVUJÍCÍ RESPIRAČNÍ ONEMOCNĚNÍ U DĚTÍ

Respirační onemocnění horních cest dýchacích patří k častým chorobám, které se vyskytují v ambulancích PLDD, ale i některých specialistů. Léčba je mnohdy pouze symptomatická a pacient ji zvládne sám, bez lékařského zásahu. Obecně platné závěry jsou shrnuty v konsenzech, které se věnují jak diagnostice, tak terapii onemocnění horních cest dýchacích. Dosud poslední platné doporučení lze nalézt v Europian Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis and Nasal Polyps 2007. Důležitý je komplexní pohled na oblast dýchacích cest a zejména jejich spojení s prostory středouší. Mnohdy je při diagnostice a léčbě třeba vzájemná spolupráce s otolaryngologem.

RECURRENT RESPIRATORY DISEASES IN CHILDREN

Respiratory diseases of upper airways belong to frequent diseases in primary pediatric care as well as in some specialists. The treatment is usually symptomatic and patient can cope with the disease without a medical intervention. Generally accepted approaches are summarized in guidelines in diagnoses and therapy of diseases of upper airways. The most recent guidelines could be found in European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis and Nasal Polyps 2007. A complex view on the area of airways and mainly on their connection with middle ear is necessary. Frequently cooperation with an othorhinolaryngologist is necessary.
