Prínos hyperbarickej oxygenoterapie ku komplexnej liečbe diabetickej nohy

Hyperbarická oxygenoterapia (HBO) je liečebná metóda, pri ktorej pacient inhaluje čistý kyslík v pretlakovej komore pri vyššom tlaku, než je tlak pri morskej hladine 0,1 MPa. Uskutočňuje sa vo viacmiestnej barokomore pomocou vzduchového kompresora na 0,15 – 0,30 MPa. Výsledkom tohto procesu je zvýšenie hladiny fyzikálne rozpusteného kyslíka v krvnej plazme, ktorý difunduje do tkanív, kde je prerušená mikrocirkulácia v kapiláre. Niet pochýb o tom, že hojenie defektov diabetickej nohy (DN) je absolútne závislé od lokálnej koncentrácie kyslíka. HBO je svojou podstatou nielen cenná doplnková metóda liečby diabetických ulcerácií s chronickým kyslíkovým deficitom, u ktorých je lokálna tenzia kyslíka pod optimálnou hranicou, ale je nevyhnutná na zhojenie defektu.

Contribution of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in complex treatment of diabetic foot

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment method during which the patient inhales pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber at higher pressure than the pressure of sea level 0.1 MPa. It is carried out in a multi-bed hyperbaric chamber, using air pressure compressor to 0.15 -0.30 MPa. The result of this process is increased level of physically dissolved oxygen in a blood plasma that penetrates into the tissue where capillary microcirculation is interrupted. There is no doubt that healing of diabetic leg defects is absolutely dependentant on local oxygen concentration. HBO in its essence is not only a valuable supplementary treatment method of diabetic ulcerations with chronic oxygen deficits in which the local oxygen tension is under the optimal level, but it is essential in healing the defect.
